Why our Continuous Electrodeionisation?
Our Continuous Electrodeionisation (CEDI) products are the most advanced generation of Ion Exchange technology. CEDI is a chemical-free process that uses ion exchange resins and electricity to produce ultra pure water (deionised). Our products are environmentally friendly, operate with continuous production, and have extremely low operating costs when compared to chemically regenerated ion exchange technology. We currently offer three lines of electrodeionisation modules: the VNX, the LX and the MX series. We also offer supplementary equipment ranging from DC Power Controllers to Piping Adapters to fit your system requirements.
Essentially different from conventional ion exchange resin purification systems.
Our continuous electrodeionisation modules utilize ion exchange resins primarily as a bridge to allow electric current to pass through the electrodeionisation cell. This allows us to operate the modules without any brine injection or concentrate recycle (unlike alternative systems). Additionally, the ion exchange resins are used to 'polish' the purified water stream by removing minute quantities of silica, carbon dioxide and other contaminants. The ion exchange resins are continually being regenerated by the dissociated hydrogen and hydroxyl ions that have been created by the electric current. Electrodeionisation utilizes no chemical regenerants and creates no hazardous wastes and produces very high purity water.

VNX Series
Modules are building blocks that allow flexibility in system design. Modules can be oriented horizontally or vertically
where up to 3 modules can be connected inline.
A CEDI module has a flow rate of 50 gpm (11 m3/h) with current distribution.
Uses a plate and frame construction and Fiberglass housing with integral Flexmount end block for
leak-free operation up to 100 psig (7 bar).
